This week on The Weekly Recharge, we're covering several major e-bike stories, including New York City's latest crackdown on illegal e-mobility devices, new e-bike law proposals, and why e-bike batteries may soon get more expensive.
We also look at Trek's 50th anniversary and how far e-bikes have come since the early ElecTrek, plus the North American release of Urban Arrow's new Breeze longtail cargo e-bike.
Later in the episode, we highlight the 354 Latemar Ronda trail system in Italy, talk through recent Electric Bike Report reviews, and answer viewer questions about the Tern HSD vs Lectric XPedition, Juiced Scrambler HT dual-battery range, and the Monarc Marker vs Ride1Up Vorsa FT.
Plus, we cover this week's e-bike deals from Specialized, Mokwheel, and Velotric, and feature our Rider of the Week.
Let us know in the comments: what do you think about New York City's approach to illegal e-bikes and e-mobility devices?
