Queens of the Yard is back as HBCU sports enters one of the busiest stretches of the fall.
This week, Sheena breaks down the Protect College Sports Act and what its proposed changes involving NIL, transfers, revenue sharing, women’s sports and media infrastructure could mean for HBCUs.
Then it’s Around the Yard with a look back at a big weekend of HBCU football, including wins from Jackson State, South Carolina State, North Carolina A&T, Delaware State, Virginia State, Kentucky State and more.
And with October officially here, it’s time for the Homecoming Roll Call as some of the biggest weekends on the HBCU calendar approach.
Later, HBCU FC joins the show to discuss the growth of HBCU soccer, the rise of women’s soccer, recruiting and scouting opportunities, the HBCU FC Classic and what greater investment could mean for the future of the sport.
