Shalom and welcome to today's Rambam thought. Today, we delve into the Mishneh Torah, Hilchot Teshuvah, Chapter 2, Law 2. The Rambam writes, "To love God is not easy; it is achieved only by contemplating His deeds and His great and wondrous creations." What a profound thought! In our day-to-day lives, it's so easy to get caught up in our own small world that we forget to look around and appreciate the immense beauty and complexity of the world that Hashem has created. Each time we watch a sunset, marvel at the stars, or witness the changing of the seasons, we are seeing the handiwork of the Almighty. Each of these experiences can bring us closer to Him, increase our love for Him, and deepen our understanding of His greatness. We are all busy, we are all trying to navigate through life's challenges, but let's take a moment, every day, to really look at the world around us, to contemplate God's creations and let that inspire our love for Him. Remember, love for God is not a one-time achievement, it's a daily practice, a continual process. Let's integrate this practice into our daily lives and see how it transforms our relationship with God and with the world around us. This podcast was produced and sponsored by Daniel Aharonoff.
