This week on the show a member of the legendary “Flyin Illini”, author, basketball analyst and broadcaster and host of Bardo’s Breakdown, Stephen Bardo joins Will Gates and Arthur Agee on Hoop Dreams The Podcast to talk about his origin story. He gives us a raw and unfiltered take on his childhood, his days at Carbondale High School in Illinois, to his time as a member of the Illinois men’s basketball team where he teamed up with Nick Anderson, Kenny Battle, Marcus Liberty and Kendall Gill to get to the 1989 Final Four against Glen Rice and the Michigan Wolverines.
