RSPN

Twenty years ago in the NBA, the owners and the players’ battle over revenue and rules illustrated a need to save the sport before things spiraled out of control. The 1998 Finals ended a storybook season for some, but what happens when contracts and seasons are thrown out the window? Some can choose to wrestle, some can cut lawns and deliver the mail, but what about the rest of our memorable players? Can we expect a repeat any time soon?

We remember the anniversary of the end of the ’98-’99 Lockout in Episode 16 of RSPN with Elton Gilkes (@Coach_Gilkes)! The feature presentation covers the months of turmoil, Stern and Hunter’s beef, the Knicks iconic run that could’ve been, Rodman and Malone in WCW and the fun of the shortened 1999 season! Also includes Jeff and Elton going long on the National Championship, the firing of Tom Thibodeau, shots of Hennessy, birthday wish preferences, SCOOP MAN SCOOP MAN and more.
