After His resurrection, Jesus told His disciples to wait in Jerusalem for the Holy Spirit. Though it was dangerous, they obeyed—and on Pentecost, the Spirit came with power. What followed was extraordinary: they proclaimed the gospel in many languages, lived with radical generosity, and committed themselves to four key practices—the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer. These rhythms shaped the early Church and still form the foundation of a Spirit-led life today.
