Conversations from the Precision Nutrition Kitchen

Welcome back to Conversations from the Precision Nutrition Kitchen. On today's episode, Marian speaks with the Executive Director of the Cornell Institute for Healthy Futures (CIHF), Heather Kolakowski.

Heather is a chef and senior lecturer in the Cornell Nolan School of Hotel Administration. In her work with CIHF, Heather studies and works at the intersection of hospitality, healthcare, and sustainability, with a focus on human centered design. She is also a Cornell alumna herself, who planned a career as a hospitality industry professional, and did not expect to return to academia in a teaching capacity. However, through life's twists and turns, she ended up back on the hilltop, doing what she loves and sharing her passion for hospitality and sustainability with her students.

In this episode, Heather also shares why juggling life as a working mom made her value recipes that are quick, easy, and wholesome. She shares a recipe for a burrito which is simple and delicious, and can be made ahead, frozen, and taken to go.
