Calls
- What is the process of registering to get the COVID vaccine? You can go to vaccinatemendo.com to enter your info and be alerted when a clinic is available for you. You can also call public health for more information at (707)-472-2759.
- Good news! Last Thursday at the Anderson Valley health clinic they vaccinated around 100 people in under 90 minutes with no problems. Why was it decided that agriculture workers are more important than in home health care workers? Choices about who got the vaccine when had to be made very quickly. There has been a lot of confusion over the past few weeks but the county is working everything out more thoroughly now.
- How will people with threatening health problems be ranked in the order of people who get the vaccine? We don’t currently have a system for one off vaccinations based on health problems but it is a very interesting proposition.
