There's long been an assumption when starting your business that you should use words like "we" and "us" in your website copy or when you communicate with potential customers via email or phone.
However, I believe you actually attract a higher quality customer by being honest about where you are in your business. Tell people it's just you. Tell them you print out of your home. Tell them you're doing this as a side hustle.
This is exactly what I've done in my business and it has been so well received. I've had so many customers tell me they want to do businesses with me more because of the fact that I'm a startup/side-hustle. I've been blessed with a great customer base and I truly believe it's partly because I've been so honest about the fact that I'm a solo-person business.
