अलेक्साण्डरः गुरुं नमस्कृत्य 'भारतं जेतुं कृपया आशिषा अनुग्रहीतव्यः अहम्' इति यदा अवदत् तदा गुरुः अरिष्टाटलः क्षणकालं मुखं निर्निमेषं दृष्ट्वा वदति यत् 'भारतं जेतुं सर्वथा न शक्यम् । वस्तुतः भारतत्वं भवति तत्रात्यायाम् आध्यात्मिकतायाम् । सा च तत्रत्यान् निःस्पृहान् संन्यासिनः अवलम्बते । अजय्याः ते । भारतस्थान् देशान् जयन् एव भारतीयं वैशिष्ट्यम् अवगन्तुं प्रयासं कुरु' इति अवदत् गुरुः । तस्य मुखमेव आश्चर्येण पश्यन् अतिष्ठत् अलेक्साण्डरः ।

This story is about conversation between Alexander and his teacher, with the teacher emphasizing the spiritual strength of India over any physical conquest. When Alexander said his teacher, Aristotle that he wants to conquer India, Arostotle replies - 'It is impossible to conquer India. In truth, the essence of India lies in its deep spirituality. It is supported by sages who are detached and free from desires. They are invincible. If you wish to understand the unique qualities of India, conquer its land and try to comprehend the spirit of India. Seeing this response, Alexander stood in awe, astonished by his teacher's words.

सम्भाषणसन्देशः इति संस्कृतमासिकपत्रिका (https://sambhashanasandesha.in) । एतस्यां पत्रिकायां प्रकाशिताः लेखाः, कथाः, बालकथाः, वार्ताः इत्यादिकं सर्वम् अपि सरलसंस्कृतेन एव प्रकाश्यते । तत्रत्याः “बालमोदिनी”नामिकाः बालकथाः अत्र प्रसार्यन्ते । अतः अस्याः शृङ्खलायाः नाम अपि “बालमोदिनी” एव । लघु गात्रं, सरला भाषा च कथानां विशेषः । प्रत्येकं कथा काञ्चित् नीतिं बोधयति । बालकथाः आबालवृद्धं सर्वेषां प्रियाः । संस्कृतेन ताः श्रोतुम् उपलब्धाः भवन्तु इति एषः प्रयत्नः श्रोतृभ्यः अवश्यं रोचेत इति विश्वासः । संस्कृतक्षेत्रे संस्कृतेन पॉड्कास्ट् क्रियमाणाः एताः प्रप्रथमाः कथाः इति सगौरवम् उद्घोष्यते ।
