We mark 6 years since Kendrick Lamar's "To Pimp A Butterfly" went to #1 on the Billboard charts in the US, garnering six Grammys thereafter. For our first hour New Muses Monday, it's all about the power ladies in part 2, with Waxahatchee, Mahalia, Sharon Van Etten, Courtney Barnett, St. Vincent, and Flock of Dimes holding it down. We also had a great tune featuring Damon Albarn and a new cut out from Dayglow to feature in part 1. Our Popcast 2nd hour did not feature the lovely Yejin in the studio physically, but as usual our own power femme held it down with a playlist of BTS, Justin Bieber, and many other quality new tunes to check out on the more mass appeal side of the new music for this weekend.
