सदाचारस्य अनुष्ठानम्

पूर्वं वारणास्यां स्थितस्य बनारसहिन्दुविश्वविद्यालयस्य कुलपतिः आसीत् आचार्य: नरेन्द्रदेवः । अस्वस्थं बन्धुं द्रष्टुं कदाचित् सः सैकल्-रिक्षायानेन गच्छन् आसीत् । तं दृष्ट्वा कश्चन सुहृद् पृच्छति यत् सर्वकारस्य कार्-यानेन गन्तुम् अर्हति खलु इति । तदा आचार्यः वदति 'उन्नतस्थाने तिष्ठता मया आचारशुद्धिः परिरक्षणीया । यदि मादृशानाम् आचारे एव शुद्धिः न भवेत् तर्हि समाजे सदाचारः कथं तिष्ठेत्? अतः मया वैयक्तिककार्याय सर्वकारीयव्यवस्थायाः उपयोगः न क्रियते' इति ।

Acharya Narendra Dev, once the Vice Chancellor of Banaras Hindu University, went by cycle-rickshaw to visit an ailing relative. A friend asked why he did not use the government car available to him. Narendra Dev replied: “In a high position, I must preserve purity of conduct. If people like me do not maintain integrity in personal behavior, how can society uphold morality? Therefore, I do not use government facilities for private purposes.”

सम्भाषणसन्देशः इति संस्कृतमासिकपत्रिका (https://sambhashanasandesha.in) । एतस्यां पत्रिकायां प्रकाशिताः लेखाः, कथाः, बालकथाः, वार्ताः इत्यादिकं सर्वम् अपि सरलसंस्कृतेन एव प्रकाश्यते । तत्रत्याः “बालमोदिनी”नामिकाः बालकथाः अत्र प्रसार्यन्ते । अतः अस्याः शृङ्खलायाः नाम अपि “बालमोदिनी” एव । लघु गात्रं, सरला भाषा च कथानां विशेषः । प्रत्येकं कथा काञ्चित् नीतिं बोधयति । बालकथाः आबालवृद्धं सर्वेषां प्रियाः । संस्कृतेन ताः श्रोतुम् उपलब्धाः भवन्तु इति एषः प्रयत्नः श्रोतृभ्यः अवश्यं रोचेत इति विश्वासः । संस्कृतक्षेत्रे संस्कृतेन पॉड्कास्ट् क्रियमाणाः एताः प्रप्रथमाः कथाः इति सगौरवम् उद्घोष्यते ।
