अनन्यगामिनी निष्ठा

मरणशय्यायां स्थितस्य कस्यचित् धनिकस्य त्रयः‌ पुत्राः‌ तु धनिकस्य ऐश्वर्यविषये आसक्ताः । धनिकस्य समीपे तिस्रः देवताः अपि सन्ति - सम्पत्तिः, प्रीतिः, निष्ठा च । धनिकस्य श्वासोत्क्रमणं यदा आरब्धं तदा सम्पत्तिः अवदत् 'यः मम वर्धने रक्षणे च आसक्तः तम् अहं सेवे' इति । प्रीतिः अवदत् 'धनिकस्य इहलोकव्यापारसमाप्तिसमनन्तरमेव अहम् इतः निर्गमिष्यामि । यः मां तीव्रतया स्मरेत् तस्य उपसर्पणं करिष्यामि' इति । निष्ठा अवदत् 'यः मां प्राप्तुं श्रमं नितरां कुर्यात्, यस्य आत्मदृढत्वं स्यात्, यस्य श्रद्धा अचला स्यात् तम् एव उपसर्पामि अहम् । मम संविभागः भवितुं न अर्हति' इति । अतः अस्मासु यः निष्ठाभावः स्यात् सः प्रयत्नेन परिरक्षणीयः । संविभक्तुम् अनर्हं तत्त्वं तत् ।

On his deathbed, a wealthy man lay surrounded by his three sons, all attached to his riches. Near him also stood three divine powers—Wealth, Affection, and Faith. As his breath began to fade, Wealth said: “I serve only those who are devoted to increasing and protecting me”. Affection said: “I depart as soon as worldly life ends. I will approach only those who remember me intensely”. Faith declared: “I come only to those who strive hard to attain me, who possess firmness of spirit and unwavering devotion. I cannot be divided or shared”. Thus, it is Faith that must be carefully preserved, for it is indivisible and eternal.

सम्भाषणसन्देशः इति संस्कृतमासिकपत्रिका (https://sambhashanasandesha.in) । एतस्यां पत्रिकायां प्रकाशिताः लेखाः, कथाः, बालकथाः, वार्ताः इत्यादिकं सर्वम् अपि सरलसंस्कृतेन एव प्रकाश्यते । तत्रत्याः “बालमोदिनी”नामिकाः बालकथाः अत्र प्रसार्यन्ते । अतः अस्याः शृङ्खलायाः नाम अपि “बालमोदिनी” एव । लघु गात्रं, सरला भाषा च कथानां विशेषः । प्रत्येकं कथा काञ्चित् नीतिं बोधयति । बालकथाः आबालवृद्धं सर्वेषां प्रियाः । संस्कृतेन ताः श्रोतुम् उपलब्धाः भवन्तु इति एषः प्रयत्नः श्रोतृभ्यः अवश्यं रोचेत इति विश्वासः । संस्कृतक्षेत्रे संस्कृतेन पॉड्कास्ट् क्रियमाणाः एताः प्रप्रथमाः कथाः इति सगौरवम् उद्घोष्यते ।
