After making a positive impact during his spell as interim Manager Joe Murphy has been handed thew reigns on a full-time basis.

Their first competitive game with Murphy as full time manager takes place on Saturday January 3rd when Offaly come to Eire Og.
 
Regardless of the result Carlow will have a game on Wednesday January 7th in the O'Byrne Cup or Shield and that will be held in Brother Leo Park in Tullow.

Ahead of the new season we caught up with Murphy for a chat.
