In this episode we look at flying. From the earliest civilisations, the idea of flight has entertained and enthralled us since Ancient times. From Otto Lilienthal, to the Wrights, and Concorde; the flying machine was seen as impossible until it was invented. Since its invention, the Aeroplane has changed the 20th century, helping to usher in the modern age of globalisation.
