Who Is the Beast of Revelation?

Few prophecies have perplexed and fascinated readers of the Bible quite like the Beast described in the book of Revelation. The Beast is presented as a terrifying amalgamation of animal parts—the body of a leopard, the feet of a bear, the mouth of a lion, seven heads, 10 horns—rising up out of the sea and empowered by a dragon to rule the world.
