Disney has shared very little about what it plans to do to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World. With the big day almost here, is a castle overlay and some new nightly shows all they plan to do? Or is more being kept under wraps?

Is Disney Doing Enough to Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World?

With less than a month to go before the kick-off of Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary celebrations on October 1, we don't really know a lot about what Disney has planned to mark this momentous occasion.

Or do we?

With the big day almost upon us, Disney has release precious little details about what they may have planned to celebrate the golden anniversary of Walt Disney World. Beyond the overlay of Cinderella Castle and other park icons, and some new nighttime shows and golden statues, what does Disney plan to do to celebrate the occasion with guests?

As soon as we wrapped recording of this episode, Disney announced the new annual pass options for Walt Disney World. Sadly, a premium Lightning Lane option was not included, but we're still holding out hope that this will happen at some future date.
