Second, at the behest of Jonathan Trimble of the London agency And Rising (thanks for the show idea and nudge Trimble), this is an entirely different podcast. When DC was leading marketing for Boost Mobile in 2005, he and his team co-developed and the entire company aided in executing an incredibly unique program focused on three C’s (Consumer, Community and Commerce). There is a buzz word for this today and it is called Acts not Ads. We prefer Acts AND Ads. In this track, we share the backdrop of this program and how it came to life.

Most importantly, we evolve our conversation to what this means with the current Covid-19 global pandemic. Now more than ever, we firmly believe brands need to develop and execute marketing programs that are genuinely helping those three C’s:
• Consumers (or Customers)
• Community
• Commerce (if done right, it will drive commerce too)
