बुद्धिर्यस्य धनं तस्य

कस्मिंश्चित् न्यायप्रियराजस्य देशे सर्वेऽपि कर्मकराः मनोयोगपूर्वकं राज्यकार्यं निर्वहन्ति स्म । कदाचित् वैरिणः अस्य देशस्य कर्मकराणां मनसि असन्तोषं जनयित्वा आन्दोलनं कारितवन्तः । ते महाराजम् उक्तवन्तः 'अस्माभिः अहोरात्रं परिश्रमः क्रियते, तथापि अस्माकं वेतनम् अतीव न्यूनं वर्तते । किन्तु एषः मन्त्री किमपि न करोति, तथापि तस्य वेतनं महत् अस्ति' इति । ततः सः राजा कर्मकराणां मन्त्रिणः च परीक्षामेकां कृत्वा कर्मकरेभ्यः दर्शयति यत् मन्त्रिणः तेषां च कर्मकौशले कियत् अन्तरम् अस्ति इति । वेतनस्य निर्धारणे बुद्धिमत्ता अपि गण्यते ।

In a kingdom ruled by a just king, all workers diligently carried out their duties. One day, enemies stirred dissatisfaction among them, leading to a protest. The workers complained to the king, saying, “We toil day and night, yet our wages are minimal. Meanwhile, the minister does nothing but receives a high salary”. To address this, the king conducted a test to demonstrate the difference in skill and responsibility between the minister and the workers. Through this, they realized that intelligence also plays a role in determining wages.

सम्भाषणसन्देशः इति संस्कृतमासिकपत्रिका (https://sambhashanasandesha.in) । एतस्यां पत्रिकायां प्रकाशिताः लेखाः, कथाः, बालकथाः, वार्ताः इत्यादिकं सर्वम् अपि सरलसंस्कृतेन एव प्रकाश्यते । तत्रत्याः “बालमोदिनी”नामिकाः बालकथाः अत्र प्रसार्यन्ते । अतः अस्याः शृङ्खलायाः नाम अपि “बालमोदिनी” एव । लघु गात्रं, सरला भाषा च कथानां विशेषः । प्रत्येकं कथा काञ्चित् नीतिं बोधयति । बालकथाः आबालवृद्धं सर्वेषां प्रियाः । संस्कृतेन ताः श्रोतुम् उपलब्धाः भवन्तु इति एषः प्रयत्नः श्रोतृभ्यः अवश्यं रोचेत इति विश्वासः । संस्कृतक्षेत्रे संस्कृतेन पॉड्कास्ट् क्रियमाणाः एताः प्रप्रथमाः कथाः इति सगौरवम् उद्घोष्यते ।
