Father, we may never truly understand why things happen the way they do on this earth. I thank You for your protection even when the outcome isn't the way we would like it to be. I realize we live in a fallen world and will face our fair share of hardships. But I thank you for being an ever present help in our times of trouble and that you will never leave us or forsake us. You are my refuge. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
