Greg Aiello is one of the preeminent communications leaders in professional sports. He spent 11 years as Public Relations Director for the Dallas Cowboys and almost 30 years leading communications for the National Football League. Greg takes us behind the scenes of PR in this episode.
From 1990-2017, he was the public face of the NFL, working closely withi Commissioners Paul Tagliabue and Roger Goodell. Greg handled high-profile issues for the league, including the concussion crisis, labor negotiations, and player discipline cases. Prior to joining the league office, he served in public relations and marketing roles with the Cowboys from 1979-1990.
