The 1909 from The State News

Michigan State President Samuel Stanley Jr. sent out an email to the university community Wednesday morning announcing that the university will be suspending all in-person courses and will be transitioning to online lectures. This is in light of two confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Michigan. Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced a state of emergency Tuesday night. On a breaking episode of The 1909, we talk to student government reporter Wendy Guzman about Stanley's email, further updates and the environment on campus in light of in-person class suspensions.
