सङ्गीतक्षेत्रे करीमखानवर्यः सुविख्यातः । एकलव्यः इव कश्चन युवकः करीमखानवर्यस्य ध्वनिमुद्रिकां श्रावं श्रावं सङ्गीताभ्यासं करोति स्म । अग्रे करीमखानवर्येण मिलित्वा, 'सम्यक् अभ्यासं कृत्वा प्रगतिं ख्यातिं च प्राप्नुहि' इति आशीर्वादं प्राप्तवान् । सः एव कुन्दनलालसेहगलवर्यः यः भाविनि काले चलनचित्रगायकत्वेन चित्रनटत्वेन च ख्यातः अभवत् ।
