अध्ययनं ज्ञानसङ्ग्रहाय

परीक्षायाम् अधिकान् अङ्कान् प्राप्तवतः सत्काराय कार्यक्रमः आयोजितः आसीत् कस्मिंश्चित् सर्वकारीये विद्यालये । मुख्यातिथिः पारितोषिकं यच्छन् कांश्चन प्रश्नान् पृष्टवान् ।  किन्तु एकस्यापि प्रश्नस्य उत्तरं दातुम् असमर्थः बालकः कारणे पृष्टे, केवलं कण्ठस्थीकृत्य उत्तरं लिखामि इति उक्तवान् । तत्रैव स्थितः अन्यः बालकः सर्वेषां प्रश्नानाम् उत्तरं ददाति । तत् श्रुत्वा अतिथिः तस्मै स्वयं पारितोषिकं ददाति । कथं सर्वं जानाति इति पृष्टे, बालकः वदति - पाठ्यपुस्तकानि इव अन्यानि अपि पुस्तकानि ज्ञानसङ्ग्रहाय पठामि इति । सः एव दादाभायि नवरोजि ।

Once, an award ceremony was organized at a government school. While giving the prize to the top scorer, the chief guest asked a few questions. The student was unable to answer, as he only memorized the answers to write in the exam. A child standing nearby answered all the questions, as he read other books in addition to the textbooks. The chief guest, pleased with his knowledge, happily gave him the prize. This boy was none other than Dadabhai Naoroji.

Among these, the children's stories titled “Balamodini” are featured. The series is named “Balamodini” as well. The hallmark of these stories is their short length and simple language. Each story imparts a specific moral lesson. Children’s stories are cherished by everyone, young and old alike. It is believed that listeners will appreciate this effort to make these stories available in Sanskrit. These are the first stories to be podcasted in the Sanskrit language within this field.
