04. Setting Expectations for Successful Employment with BJ Pfeiffer

BJ Pfeiffer is the CEO of Enterprise Solutions Technology Group and the Director of the EmployAbility Project. BJ is passionate about employment and career development and is dedicated to helping people find what can become a lifetime career. EmployAbility Project helps college students enter the workforce, primarily those who are on the autism spectrum or have a learning disability, through career exploration, counseling, preparation, and internships. BJ says that the students she works with are blowing the socks off of theories about people with disabilities. She emphasizes that changing the dynamic and asking what a person needs to be successful allows for clear expectations for both the employer and employee. BJ shares stories from her experiences entering the workforce and gives incredible tips on capitalizing on every job interview. BJ is helping pave the way to prosperity for her program’s participants.
