Bill Filipiak (00:00) I'm just waiting on the right wave To ride Hello from El Porto, California, and the Americana Coast Podcast. This is your daily pep talk. So I was talking to my wife about the podcast and these pep talks and everything. And she said, you know, it's a lot to expect people to be positive all the time. I said, you're right. She said, you talk a lot about being positive all the time. I'm like, you're right. She said, you need to remind people that sometimes it's okay to worry. Sometimes it's okay to be negative. I like, you're right. because she usually is. It's a good reminder. And I do want to be clear. I don't expect people or myself or those around me to be positive all the time. All I'm trying to do is offer some suggestions and tools and things that I've tried to help not let the negativity get a hold of me to the point where it keeps me from accomplishing my goals and enjoying my life. because negativity builds and reverberates upon itself. And if you're not careful, it can consume you. So I talk a lot about being aware of negativity and your own perspective and mindset so that you can at least get yourself through those negative periods knowing that there's another side. There's a light at the end of the tunnel, even if you can't see it. So that's really the point. Yes, we're all gonna worry about things. We're gonna be concerned and stressed. That's part of life. The point is to come up with strategies and ways to help yourself refocus your energies and keep a positive outlook. That's it. A little long today, but I thought it was worth it. Because the more that you can be aware and focused on trying to overcome the negativity, the easier it is to say it with me. Be good to each other, be kind to each other, love each other, and help each other through it. Peace out, we'll talk to you next time. I'm just waiting on the right wave to ride
