Under the spotlight with Kevin Moore. Kevin Moore has retired in 2020. He has had over 40 years experience working in the broadcast and professional video hardware and software industry in Ireland. He has project-managed several major installation projects both in Ireland and abroad, including TV stations, post-production facilities, and news and graphics installations. He was the first to introduce Avid editors to Ireland in 1989.

Kevin Moore is now retired and our first retired interviewee that has been under the spotlight explaining his long background in the Audio Visual industry which spans over 40 years.

Kevin was a Director of Creative Technology Ireland (CT Ireland), the Irish division of the international Creative Technology group up until retirement at the end of 2020. CT Ireland was formerly Ion Solutions, and is Ireland's premier supplier of broadcast and professional AV systems, live events technical production services, and provision of managed services, and employs a total of 70+ people in the group.

Among other achievements, Kevin was a key part of the team that was awarded an IBC Innovation Award at the 2013 IBC Convention, with our client, RTE and technology partner TMD, for the FAST Project at RTE, to provide file-based ingest and transmission facilities for the Irish National Broadcaster.

Kevin played a key role in determining the technology deployed by the CT-I team, and as well as his technical experience, Kevin has many years of financial and operational management experience.
