It's so very important to make sure that we do things the way God has commanded us to do them in our worship and in our service, in our lives and in our homes.
David found that out the hard way and Uzzah died, but we read in first chronicles chapter 15, You are the heads of the fathers' houses of the Levites; sanctify yourselves, you and your brethren, that you may bring up the ark of the Lord God of Israel to the place I have prepared for it. For because you did not do it the first time the Lord our God broke out against us because we did not consult Him about the proper order.
We fail to do what's right when we fail to do it God's way. Let us live and serve God in accordance with His commandments and not our own opinions.
