ATX Metal Podcast

In today's episode (recorded on July 24, 2020), Ryan calls up Dave Perry from Fear of Water. Dave moved to Austin 5 years ago and has an interesting backstory. He is a one-man band, literally. He’s the only member of Fear of Water.

Show Notes

Dave hasn’t gotten out much since COIVD-19 set in.  From the first of March to the End of May, he left his house only twice to avoid the virus as best as possible.  He’s doing fine and in good spirits.  The guys gloss over how we got here and talk about Dave’s new music.

Dave can do it all when it comes to music.  Well almost anything.  Since the shutdown here in Austin, TX he took the time to revisit his upcoming music release.  So, he's including an instrumental version of all 10 songs.  He goes into detail about “how the sausage is made”.

The guys talk about music production, new music standards and as they coined it “ugly baby music”.  No one wants to make ugly baby music. Also, don’t let your Uber Driver poison you.

The song featured on today’s show is “Power is Power” by Fear of Water
