Are you a business owner who is looking for advice on how to better run your firm? In this episode, Tyson Mutrux chats with Tiffany Webber, a lawyer and firm leader about navigating the complexities of running a law firm while balancing a personal life.

Tiffany speaks to some of the challenges she has faced while running a small organization. One of these challenges is having an open door policy with staff, where nothing can get done because there are always questions and concerns brought to her attention. Mitigating this for Tiffany involves setting boundaries with staff and saying no to things.

Running a business involves staying connected with employees and ensuring they are set up for success. For Tiffany, it is important to know who fits best for your business and taking action to replace people if needed to make sure your business doesn't suffer due to underperformance. This also helps support staff who work hard and reward them for doing good work. It is also important to balance employee retention and happiness with good, effective client service so business is always prospering.
