The Mrs Barbara Nice & Friends Podcast

Comedian Chris Stokes tunes back in to Barbara's wavelength to regale her with stories of Turtles in Bras, sarcastic royalty in West Bromich and Storytelling vs stand up comedy

Show Notes

Episode 81 of Mrs Barbara Nice and Friends is part of the Birmingham Comedy Festival and also finds Barbara in an upbeat mood as her own piece of comedy, her Radio 2 sitcom, is being repeated, so she's getting to be heard by the masses again. Happy days!

Joining her on her wavelength is comedian and storyteller Chris Stokes who compares storytelling to stand up comedy, tells stories of turtles in bras and how the West Bromich Accent makes everything seem sarcastic.
There's even time for Producer Paul to say "mmmm". He's definitely part of the podcast.

This podcast is the first in a short series supporting the Birmingham Comedy festival From 2nd-11th October 2020
