In this episode, we had the opportunity to talk to Dr. Shahzeer Karmali. Dr. Karmali is a minimally invasive and bariatric surgeon in Edmonton, Alberta. He gave us a masterclass on the common types of bariatric operations, post-op care, and gives an overview of bariatric complications. He also discusses his fascinating research of the impact of bariatric surgery on intra-cranial hypertension. Finally, he talks about how to navigate a relationship with industry.
