Julia Stoyanovich is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering, where she is also the Director of the Center for Responsible AI. Her research focuses on responsible data management and analysis and on practical tools for operationalizing fairness, diversity, transparency, and data protection in all stages of data acquisition and processing. In addition to conducting field-leading research and teaching, Professor Stoyanovich has written several comics aimed at communicating complex AI issues to diverse audiences.

In AI We Trust? is a podcast with Miriam Vogel of EqualAI and Kay Firth-Butterfield of the Centre for Trustworthy Technology that surveys the global landscape for inspiration and lessons in developing responsible, trustworthy artificial intelligence.
