Show Notes
Welcome to today's YouTube For Realtors WALK AND TALK #38- I have so many things going through my head every day about YouTube for Realtors that I just want to get it all out! I get asked so many questions everyday and coach so many agents it's time to answer all of those in depth, on my walk to the gym!
In todays episode I do a deep dive into Simplifying but mastering the Real Estate YouTube Vlog. Are you struggling with the vlog? How to shoot it? Too many clips takes too long. Just coming back from our live event, it seemed to be the overwhelming question. But people want to go all in with the vlog and it's just almost debilitating sometimes to look at the amount of effort that goes into just one vlog. You know it's shooting, one day organizing, one day editing and it takes a long time. And if you're trying to hand those off to other people to edit for you, know that a lot of times it comes back as a disaster. They don't put things where you want it.
Keyword research just proves how much more people search these cities in YouTube than Google and I think that's just when they actually get to YouTube, type in an area and get to watch they're not worried about the house yet. They are just trying to figure out where in the hell do I live? What is that best area? What or what's the areas I don't like? And that's the vlog is what captures that, right? So we're going to do another deep dive into it today so that you can start getting some of these out there. You know you get a lot of people reaching out when you you get a camera. You're instantly a YouTuber which goes into becoming, an influencer instead of a real estate agent. Like you got a camera in your face and you're in public. People are like holy **** this dude is a boss where you're instantly linked to being a YouTuber, and I like the psychology of things. Believe it or not, the reason is anybody would ever judge you on that is because they want to be doing it themselves, or they're placing you as this character this YouTuber. They're not staring at you and what you're saying, they're trying to picture themselves doing what you're doing. Ff you're out there confidently creating content on video and people are watching it, they're not judging you they're trying to place themselves in your shoes. These are just sneak peak of what you can learn from this episode! Come and listen to this homies.

The Channel Junkies Podcast is for real estate agents who are already on YouTube and want the channel to finally behave like a business, not a second job. Each week, we show you how to turn your “Living In [City]” channel into a predictable relocation lead machine that feeds your pipeline whether you’re filming or not.
Hosted by Jackson Wilkey and Jesse Dau, founders of Channel Junkies, you’ll get tactical breakdowns on video hooks and titles, first‑30‑seconds retention, thumbnails, upload cadence, and analytics that actually matter. We go deep on the back end too: speed‑to‑lead, follow‑up SOPs, show‑rate fixes, and simple systems so you stop dropping YouTube leads on the floor and start closing more buyers and sellers.
No fluff, no generic “social media tips.” Just real case studies, hot‑seat audits, and step‑by‑step playbooks from agents doing 6–7 figures in GCI from their channels. New episodes weekly.
