1499, Florence, Italy. A lone woman stands in the cold rainy night in a dark cemetery paying tribute to a woman she barely knew. Little does she know, the subject of her morning stands in the shadows, silently watching over her. Out of the darkness, a threat emerges, blood is spilled, and a new alliance is formed. Five strangers come together for the first time and set the wheels of history in motion. This is the beginning.
