The chances of existing is basically zero. Anyone who is alive right now including those who are reading this, has defied an impossible one to 400+ trillion odd... Pretty amazing, right?! They way I see it is the fact that we defied that odd means that we were born with a purpose and I believe that full heartedly down to my core. To be alive is the greatest gift in the world and we need to take advantage of this opportunity.
For most of my life I did not believe that and also didn't know what my purpose was or what impact I could have on Earth. God intervened into my life in 2016 and changed the course of my legacy forever. From that time on I knew what I had to do to become the man I wanted to be but did not grasp the concept of longevity and sustainability with the lifestyle I was going to live.
As I accomplished many goals I set out for including: losing 100+ pounds, first generation college graduate, strengthening my relationship with God, impacting lives all around me, etc. I got comfortable and slowly let negative habits creep back into my life which ultimately led to the loss of a burning fire to be relentless in my pursuit of being the best version of myself. As my pursuit lessened, challenges and trials that presented themselves became daunting to face and felt as if I was completely losing control of my life until recently when I had another damaging back injury and also discovered 75HARD created by Andy Frisella.
I am 31 days into this program and had a massive realization that if I want to achieve becoming the man God purposed me to be (physically, spiritually, mentally, professionally, financially, with relationships, etc.) it will require a relentless effort from me day, after day, after day and an understanding that this choice of lifestyle will have no ending... I have experienced what it is like to live like this and to also have it stripped from me because of my own choices and behaviors. Now that I have experienced both sides, I am willing to do everything in my power to never allow that to happen again.
If you have not already, I encourage you to take the necessary time to figure out who you are in the now and who you want to be for the rest of your life. Once you come to a conclusion, then it is time to relentlessly pursue that version of yourself and NEVER, NEVER, NEVER quit. We are not alive "by chance" and we are definitely not designed to live a mediocre life. I pray for strength, guidance and your ability to believe in yourself as we continue this journey together.
