We’re speaking with Priya Thuvassery from Chambal Media in India about their new training academy for women journalists in rural communities. It’s inspiring. They plan to train 270 women over the next three months across three states in India. The objective is to "go beyond the technical aspects of reporting and encourage students to recognize and understand gender, caste and patriarchy in our society, and how it affects the mainstream media narrative."
