What becomes possible when you slow down enough to actually hear yourself?
In this episode of Soul to Soul, Gillian is joined by Verena Seipp, an ICF-certified Transformational Coach for Holistic Wellbeing, for a conversation about presence, purpose, healing and creating enough stillness to reconnect with yourself.
After twelve years working in advertising, Verena reached a point where she knew she no longer wanted to give her energy to the life she was living. She stepped away from her career, travelled for almost a year and, for the first time, gave herself permission not to immediately know what came next.
That journey eventually led her towards transformational coaching, meditation, Yoga Nidra, Reiki and a much deeper understanding of what it means to work with the whole person - body, emotion and soul.
Together, Gillian and Verena explore why so many of us spend our lives living in our heads, how slowing down can help us reconnect with what we actually feel, and why stillness is becoming increasingly important in a fast and complicated world.
They also talk about the pressure to do our healing and inner work “perfectly”. Verena shares one of her biggest lessons: life will interrupt our routines, we will wobble, and sometimes the most important thing is simply remembering that we can always pick the practices that support us back up again.
