NextGenDDS is BACK with a new season and host for 2026!✨ Dr. Scott Menaker is joined with new host, Mario Santiago, CPA, CFP, to discuss anything and everything dental students and young dentists need to know to be successful in their careers.
In this episode, Mario and Scott sit down to discuss the importance of building a strong team of advisors to lean on during your years in practice. This episode sets up the rest of the season, where Mario and Scott will spend each episode deep diving into specific types of advisors, such as transitions, financial, legal, and more.

Scott Menaker, DDS
Dr. Scott Menaker enjoyed a successful 38-year career as a practicing dentist, before transitioning to pursue his passion of helping young dentists succeed. Scott now works as a buyer representative, helping young dentists purchase practices and avoid the pitfalls of a failed transition.
Mario Santiago, CPA, CFP®
Mario Santiago is a tax, business, and financial planning advisor who works exclusively with dentists and dental specialists across the country. He helps doctors reduce taxes, improve practice profitability, and plan confidently for retirement, and is a frequent speaker for local, state, and national dental organizations. Having grown up with two dentist parents, Mario brings a unique perspective and a commitment to honest, objective guidance.
