Bring Your Full Self

On the final episode of Bring Your Full Self Season 1 (!) we are excited to return to the roundtable format. Today's conversation comes in a Q&A format and is inspired by the wonderful questions and curiousity of Converge Collaborative's intern Ryan Park. Ryan is joined by a panel of three Converge members, Katie Giritlian, Pat McMahon, and Amy Yoshitsu. Questions are asked in both directions by all parties, and topcs covered include making friends, finding your passions, and of course, being patient through the pauses.

Thank you so much to everyone involved in the making of Season 1 of Bring Your Full Self. Thank you to everyone who listened, shared, and provided feedback, support, and encouragement.

Bring Your Full Self is a series of conversations that center the humanity and emotions of people of color in the context of their labor, how they generate their work, and survive inside the systems of capitalism. This podcast is produced and created by members of Converge Collaborative, an artist-led BIPOC workers co-op and creative collective.

We hope you enjoy listening! If you have any thoughts, questions, or feedback, you can reach us at converge@convergecollaborative.com, or on Instagram, @convergecollaborative.

What is Bring Your Full Self?

Bring Your Full Self is a series of conversations that center the humanity and emotions of people of color in the context of their labor, how they generate their work, and survive inside the systems of capitalism. Bring Your Full Self is produced and created by members of Converge Collaborative, an artist-led BIPOC workers co-op and creative collective.

This podcast serves the dual purpose of making transparent the process of creating Converge Collaborative, and allowing us to connect with a wider community of laborers, professionals, and artists of color. Converge was founded with the acknowledgement that work, personal endeavors, and creative pursuits cannot be compartmentalized no matter how much our current culture tells us they must. We invite ourselves and others to cultivate spaces that allow us to safely step away from the myth of professionalism and embrace the reality that all of our experiences, learnings and challenges intertwine, merge and make us the multitudes that we all are.

Season 1 features one-on-one conversations between Converge Collaborative members, as well as episodes in a roundtable format, with members discussing a variety of topics related to the way work and labor function in society today.
