James very much wants us to understand how important it is to control our tongues (what we say), how much evil and confusion is caused by people speaking in jealousy and selfish ambition. Such speaking is of the same attitude and purpose as the demons. But we can choose pure wisdom, which leads to peace, mercy, and good fruits. Read from the World English Bible.
