Victor Luckerson
 is a journalist and author based in Tulsa, Oklahoma who works to bring neglected black history to light. He was nominated for a National Magazine Award for his reporting in Time on the 1923 Rosewood Massacre. 
His new book is titled Built From the Fire: The Epic Story of Tulsa’s Greenwood District, America’s Black Wall Street. 
Victor’s book is a multi-generational saga of a family and a community in Tulsa’s Greenwood district, known as “Black Wall Street,” that in one century has survived the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre, urban renewal, and gentrification.

The podcast is about being Black in America for more than 80 years... as seen through the eyes of The Last Negroes at Harvard. There were 18 of us. We were in the Class of 1963. Before we leave the planet, we have a lot to say and people we want to talk to.
