Janet chats to Paso Primero’s Tom Holt, a local Shrewsbury lad who found himself making wine in Somontano, Spain, and comedy writer and performer Ilaria Passeri who reveals what she really has in her drawers.

Tom Holt is the founder of Shrewsbury-based Paso Primero, which makes great wines in Somontano in northern Spain. He tells Janet about his journey, from working at Tanners wine merchants in his hometown to following his dream and making his own wines in Spain. Tom explains the virtual winemaking process and why he decided on the 'old world' for his own blend of accessible and easy drinking wines.

Ilaria Passeri is a comedy writer and performer working towards her first one woman show, Lady Ilaria’s Drawers. She has been performing sketches in the Manchester area for some time and makes regular appearances as an elf at Christmas. She's also half-Italian and loves her wine.
