Jim Becker is the founder and CEO of Becker Logistics, LLC. Jim Becker entered the logistics world in 1991 as an LTL Coordinator. From 1995 to 1997, he was a Purchasing Manager with Norix Group, where he managed and maintained inventory levels for the manufacturing department. In 1997, Jim started what we fondly know today as Becker Logistics, LLC. Since its inception, it has grown exponentially annual revenue. Jim built the company on the founding core values of Integrity, Quality, Innovation, Safety, Competitiveness, Openness, Respect, and Equal Work-Life Balance. Along the way, Jim found it important to assist the board of The Monroe Institute (July 2021-present) in their endeavors to continue Bob Monroe’s legacy.

He brings extensive leadership to Astrotech Corporation’s Board, focusing on strategic market growth and expansion, scaling, and business process improvements, along with public speaking and corporate strategic skills. He currently serves as a Chairman of the Membership Committee for the Transportation Intermediaries Association (where he served as an At-Large Board Member for two terms, 2013-2019), McLeod Software as an Executive Advisory Committee, and the creation of Jenna’s Foundation. Mr. Becker received a certificate in Mergers and Acquisitions from the University of Chicago and went to Northwestern University for Leadership and Organizational Behaviorism.

Jim has learned to focus on the “journey” of life. His purpose is to help people become a better version of themselves, live life without regrets, feel empowered, and act confidently. Jim’s motto is, “if nothing changes, nothing changes”.
