The thing that I found the most remarkable about my interview with Michael Stone is the seemingly effortless way in which he created spaciousness and freedom for me to speak from my heart. You can see, hear, and feel his mindfulness-in-action in the way he carefully sets up the conversational container. We quickly entered into some tender domain...from the politics of race to the embodiment of liberation on the quantum-level, it seemed like there was no limit to what we might touch upon together.

Dr. Sará King is a UCLA-trained political and learning scientist, neuroscientist, social-entrepreneur, public speaker, and yoga and meditation instructor. She has over 20 years of experience as a research scientist, and specializes in the study of the relationship between mindfulness, community healing/medicine, and social justice.
She is also the founder of MindHeart Consulting, offering up workshops, seminars, and evidence-based research projects based on the framework she developed called the "Science of Social Justice" - a way of both studying (researching), teaching (facilitating), and healing individuals and communities from the dis-ease of othering - informed by an interdisciplinary framework that merges medical and cultural anthropology, political science, ethnic studies, feminist and queer studies, interpersonal neurobiology, cognitive and affective neuroscience, psychology, socio-linguistics, and public health. www.mindheartconsulting.com
