2.39: The Talisman (Part 1)

New Book Week! Scott and Matt begin The Talisman, King's first collaboration with author Peter Straub. Today we read and discuss chapters 1-5 and the first interlude! We talk about how different in style this book feels, Jack's wonderful and complex relationship with his mother, and of course... The Hero's Journey.

Discussion Question: What is your favorite book written by more than one author and why?

Next week, The Talisman continues with chapters 6-9!
