The Book of Revelation is jam-packed with all manner of unusual creatures and events. There are persecutions and wars, economic crashes and famines, earthquakes and floods, as well as the mysterious scrolls, trumpets, and bowls. It also contains the most debated question in the book—the timing of the Rapture and the Coming of Christ. The question is: When will all of these things happen? 

One key to knowing when events will transpire is recognizing that Revelation is not laid out in chronological order. To assume that it is makes it very easy to misunderstand the entire timeline of events and to misinterpret the most confusing period in Church history.
