It’s pretty easy to go about your earthly life and forget what is truly important and why you are on your journey on the covenant path in the first place. In this episode, I am talking about how you can avoid “forgetting” and instead “remember” the Savior in your life. The Hebrew word for remember has a deeper meaning than our English version of “to bring to one’s mind an awareness.” In Hebrew the word “remember” conveys action. Remember means you are going to do something, not just think about it. In the episode, you’ll hear three ways you can take action to remember Jesus. First, you can partake of the sacrament each week. Next, you can record the “goodness of Jesus in your life.” Finally, you can look for Jesus in the normal, mundane things you are doing everyday. In the parable of the wise man and the foolish man, Christ taught that we have to do more than just hear His words. We have to hear and then we have to do. Remembering is doing and doing is building your house with Christ as the foundation. I hope this episode will help you to remember the Savior in your journey on the path. Each week on the Spiritually Minded Women podcast I’ll be sharing insights about how to embrace YOUR journey on the covenant path with CHECKPOINTS instead of CHECKLISTS.
