In this episode, I Interview Davinder a victim support worker and an outreach liaison at the surrey women's shelter. we discuss at length her childhood back in Punjab including the cultural traditions of that era while also speaking in depth about the core values that she learned from her parents. In addition, she speaks about the experience of immigrating to Canada during the first recent flux of Sikh Punjabi immigrants. Davinder also speak about her career path in social work and the key figures that were inspirations along the way.
