प्रथमस्वातन्त्र्यसङ्ग्रामस्य प्रमुखस्य नानासाहेबस्य उपस्थितिं सूचितवन्तं प्रति पञ्चाशत्सहस्रं दास्यन्ते इति आङ्ग्लसर्वकारेण घोषितमासीत्। कदाचित् बुभुक्षया पिपासया श्रान्त्या च किञ्चित् गृहम् आगतवन्तं नानसाहेबं, गृहस्वामिनी ससन्तोषेण भोजनं परिवेषितवती । तावता आरक्षाधिकारी तस्याः पतिः गृहं प्रविश्य नानासाहेबं बन्धुं प्रयतते । पतिपत्न्योः मध्ये वादविवादे आरब्धे पतिः लघुभुषुण्डिकां हस्तेन गृह्णाति । पत्नी तस्य हस्तात् भुषुण्डिकां बलात् स्वीकृत्य अग्रे किं करोति इति कथां श्रुत्वा जानन्तु।
